The BSU Women's Club hosts several social events throughout the academic year with opportunities for our members to catch up with old friends and welcome new faces into our community of supportive women.

Salad Carry-In and Book Drive

  • 5:30 PM Welcome reception and interest group sign-up
  • 6:00 PM Dinner and fall meeting; recognition of scholarship students and new members

Please bring a salad (hot or cold, savory or sweet) to share. Cash bar available. Guests welcome!

BOOK DRIVE FOR 1ST-3RD GRADERS

Donate new or gently used books for 1st-3rd graders in Muncie Community Schools who are developing their reading skills.

Winter Accessories Drive

October Interest Group Meeting Locations

We're collecting gloves, hats, socks, underwear, and other cold-weather accessories to donate to Muncie students and families in need.

Please bring these items to your interest group meetings in October.

Holiday Open House

Feeling festive? You're invited for an evening of food and fun in a beautiful holiday setting. We'll enjoy hors d'ouvres, a performance by the Distaffs, and a carol sing-along.

Valentine's Tea

The Tea and Travel Group invites all members to a valentine-themed tea party on a Saturday in February.

Spring Fling and Food Drive

Join us for refreshments, entertainment, and a brief business meeting to close out the year.

At our 2018 Salad Carry-In, we asked our members to donate food and household pantry items to Cardinal Kitchen. Thank you for your generosity!

The Distaffs sang holiday favorites at the 2018 Holiday Open House. Thank you to Dr. Jennifer Mearns, First Lady of Ball State, for hosting at Bracken House!

BSUWC invited the community to Panera for a "Dine and Donate" fundraiser for our non-traditional student scholarship in January 2019. A portion of the night's sales was donated to the fund.

Student A Capella group Sedoctave performed at our 2019 Spring Fling, where we recognized our club members reaching 25+ and 50 years. We also donated books to the Partners in Literacy Council.
