Interest Groups

Interest groups are the most popular way to connect with other members. Most groups meet monthly; you may join as many groups as you like. It's a great opportunity to meet women who share your interests.

Couples' Euchre

4th Wednesday, 6:30 PM

Bring a partner to play cards while enjoying fellowship and food. Pay $1 to play; at the end, the low score gets their dollar back and the rest of the money is divided among the most loans and the high score. Meeting locations vary.

Distaffs Choir

2nd, 3rd, & 4th Monday, 3:30 PM

This singing group performs several times during the Christmas season and spring at local nursing homes and other locations.

Duplicate Bridge

2nd & 4th Tuesday, 7 PM

Mary Hagopian

Duplicate Bridge is similar to Party/Rubber Bridge, but scored differently. The group consists of 8 players and 2 tables, but substitutes fill openings as needed. Members take turns hosting and provide refreshments.

Evening Euchre

This low-key, no-pressure group includes cards, refreshments, and conversation. Members take turns hosting and provide refreshments.

International Women

Learn about other cultures through speakers and sharing stories. Members take turns hosting and share the duties of bringing snacks.

Ladies' Gourmet

Members take turns hosting, planning, and cooking elegant evening meals for the group. Recipes are exchanged. Highlights include a cookie exchange and "Bring a Guest" Night.

If you or your spouse are retired, this group is for you! We meet to socialize with our peers. Monthly lunches are very popular.

Committee members select the recipients of our non-traditional student scholarships (selection process May through July). We also organize fundraising activities for our scholarships endowment/fund.

Tea & Travel

1st Saturday, usually 1 PM

Groups of four co-host and invite the group to tea party, ranging from fun themes to elegant high teas. You won't leave hungry! We also travel to at least one tea house during our year of events.

Wine Tasting
